Students need to come to school with their student IDs, especially those walking into campus. Anyone walking through the gate to enter campus is required to have their SAS ID card scanned by the security guards.
To ensure the health and safety of our community and each individual, the following requirement is in place for all students to return to campus after illness:
PERIOD OF ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL
Until PCR/antigen comes back negative OR 7 days post onset
At least 48 hours fever free and related symptoms disappear
(common symptoms include 3 or more episodes of diarrhea in 24 hours and/or 2 or more vomiting episodes in 24 hours)
Symptom free for at least 72 hours
Common cold with fever
Fever free for at least 48 hours
Other common reportable communicable diseases that require students to be excluded from school include chickenpox, hand-foot-mouth disease, measles, rubella, mumps and acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis. Each individual will be evaluated case-by-case. If you have questions, please consult with your divisional nurse.
Beginning Monday, January 16, parents are welcome on campus to:
Attend a scheduled meeting with a teacher, principal, or other agent of the organization.
Act as a volunteer for a planned grade-level, divisional, schoolwide, or PTSA activity.
Attend a scheduled event, e.g., principal-sponsored coffees, admissions events, parent informational meetings, after school competitions in the designated event space.
To access coffee in the cafeteria, purchase items from the Eagle Shop or check out books from the library.
Parents and visitors can enter the campus as follows:
Scan and submit the “SAS Campus Access Request” QR code (see below) in advance.
You will receive an SMS with a QR code, which must be shown to security guards upon arrival.
Parents must present a valid SAS parent ID. Please contact the admissions office if you have lost your ID. Visitors who are not parents will need to present a copy of their official government ID: PRC ID card, passport, etc.
